This week, our topic is Chinese calligraphy, mainly seal inscription(小篆) and official inscription (隶书). We wrote a phrase “上善若水”， which is an idiom originated from a Chinese philosopher Laozi’s thought : the highest goodness is like water. Water benefits all things and dose not compete. It stays in the lowly placed which others despise. Therefore it is near The Eternal. People learnt the developing history of Chinese calligraphy, and practised writing.
