On Monday 1st April, Class 8 visited Beacon Fell. The children took part in a number of exciting activities including orienteering and den-building. We were also lucky enough to see a sculptor putting the finishing touches to an incredible stone snake sculpture whilst we were there! After lunch, the children walked through the forest to the summit where they sat and sketched the beautiful landscape. The children demonstrated fantastic skills of co-operation when working together and their den-building capabilities really impressed us!
