At the beginning of this year, a new version of the online programming environment Scratch was launched. In their Computing lessons this half term, many of the children across KS2 have been learning how to use the new environment through exploring, experimenting and tinkering. Whilst having a lot of fun, they are also broadening their creative, computational and collaboration skills.
I am delighted with the number of children who are choosing to take control of their own learning and creating Scratch projects in their own time at home. If your child has created something they are proud of please do encourage them to let me know.
(Please be mindful of e-safety as it is a online community.)
