We just finished preparing a new playing area including a sandbox and some climbing devices. As soon as we have new pictures we'll upload them asap!

The capitol of Belgium is Brussels. It is known for a couple of reasons

- it is the host of a lot of european holdings such as the European Parliament. -> Brussel is in fact sort of the capitol of Europe.

- the typical artworks Atomium and Manneke Pis ( he is famous for peeing in public :) )

In Belgium we speak 3 different languages namely Dutch, French and German. Such a little country with such a variety of languages. Here you can see a presentation on how it is divided.

The most obvious reason most people know our little country must have something to do with some of our local food and drinks.

Everybody loves French fries (they're not French you know), Belgian chocolats and our beer. So you must admit, it's great to be a Belgian!

We live in a province called Limburg. There is a Belgian province called Limburg but there is also a Dutch province called Limburg. I guess they didn't have a lot of inspiration when they gave the province its own name :o)

In our province, we are situated on the left side, close to the border with The Netherlands in a town called MAASEIK. It is also nearby the German border.

 We have our own anthem next to the Belgian National Anthem. We also sing our own Limburgs Volkslied. ">anthem of limburg

Typical for our province is the fact that there are a lot of walking and cycling tracks to discover our province. In the south of Limburg there are a lot of orchards with apples, pears, even vineyards. Especially in spring it is a big tourist attraction to cycle across this magnificent landscape.
