This week in Year 3!

What a busy week we have had in Year 3 this week!

On Wednesday, it was ‘No Pens Wednesday’ where the children enjoyed a variety of practical activities, including: art with leaves and clay; practical maths games and some R.E role play.

Yesterday was a fantastic day, but it certainly was jam- packed. Our day started with a wonderful Year 4 assembly in our local church to celebrate Harvest. We learnt a lot about the origin of different foods from around the world. Once we returned to school, we set off for the tram journey, which took us to The Globe Theatre. It was amazing to see how our own ballet sessions progress to the standards of the students from The Royal Ballet School. They were incredible, and a real inspiration to our children.

Today, we put those skills into practise with our ballet teacher, Miss Gough.

Please can we remind you to read Anchornews each week. We are also collecting 2- litre bottles for a whole school Remembrance project. Please send in an empty 2- litre bottle with your child. Thank you.

Have a lovey weekend,

The Year 3 Team.
