Walchpack – Week 30/31

A very busy two weeks – 9 days in Class 9!

The children have been doing all sorts, including:
– shapes
– poetry
– perimeter
– arithmetic
– times tables
– square and cube numbers
– singing
– history
– RE
– tennis
– figurative writing
– dodgeball (me vs everyone included!)
– art
– mandarin
– reading
– sharing books
– descriptive writing
– ‘flossing’
and much, much more…..

We have lots of exciting things coming up, and now is the time for the ‘Walchpack’ to keep going at school, and at home! It is important that children continue to read everyday, practise their times tables and spellings etc.

It is great to see so many children bringing in extra work they have done at home, or books they have enjoyed reading!

Finally….I’m a Man United fan, but it is no surprise this team finished top of their league.

Wolves are winners, just like this pack at Anchorsholme!

Just wanted to say the Musical Extravaganza and the Big Sing were fantastic! You could see the hard work and time put in by the pupils and staff.
The ‘staying safe online’ talk today after school was also very good. The turnout may have been low because the newsletter stated an hour but it was only 30 minutes.
